Frequently asked questions
What does my dog’s routine look like while boarding?
Your pup will enjoy a structured and comforting routine while staying with us. Our day begins with the first potty break at 6:45 AM, followed by tidying up their kennel and serving breakfast. We allow plenty of time after meals to ensure their stomachs settle properly—safety first!
If your pup is participating in daycare, playtime begins at 8:00 AM and runs until 12:00 PM. From 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, all dogs enjoy a well-deserved rest period. Daycare resumes from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM with more supervised fun and enrichment.
If your pup is not participating in daycare, they will still receive numerous walks throughout the day along with one-on-one enrichment time with our team to keep them active, engaged, and loved.
In the evening, we serve dinner, provide a relaxing break, and take your dog on a few final walks before bedtime. Every pup ends the day with a goodnight treat and calming music to help them relax and feel right at home.
What should I bring for my pet while boarding?
We encourage clients to bring items that help their pets feel comfortable and at home during their stay. You’re welcome to bring:
A bed or blanket with familiar scents
Up to two toys (preferably indestructible and not a choking hazard)
Your dog’s regular food and treats to keep their routine consistent
Please note: We do not accept rawhides, as they can pose a choking hazard
My dog has medication— is that okay?
Yes! If your pet requires medication or supplements, that’s no problem at all. Our team is happy to administer them as directed, and we want to make sure your pup stays happy and healthy during their stay.
We do not charge any additional fees for administering medications.
What happens if there is an emergency?
While we hope emergencies never occur, we know that accidents or unexpected situations can happen. If there is ever a concern, we will contact you immediately. If we are unable to reach you, we will reach out to your emergency contact.
If your pet requires immediate veterinary care, we will transport them to COVE Veterinary Hospital, the closest facility to us.
Our team is CPR and First Aid certified and has years of experience handling minor injuries and health concerns. You can rest assured that your pet is in safe, capable hands.
